Guide to Registration of China Computer Software

A. materials for application
     1. content of description of computer software 1) name of software: full name, shorten form; 2) version number 3) circumstance of hardware: machine type for software exploitation, request of EMS memory KB (MB), main applicable machine type, request of external memory KB (MB), request of terminal and other request of external equipment.4) circumstance of software: operating system, support circumstance, program language, amount of source program, storage medium of program. 5) apply area: main applicable industry, main purpose. And retail price or quoted price (RMB)
     2. program distinguishing material: you shall provide continued 20-pages separately from the front, the middle and the end of source program (up to 60 pages), or the whole source program , if it has less than 60 pages. Applicant can also do some exceptional submitting or saving, when the application is involve with some secrets.
     3. document distinguishing material: you shall provide continued 20-pages separately from the front, the middle and the end of document (up to 60 pages ), or the whole document, if it has less than 60 pages. General document distinguishing material includes: one of the design specification, user manual, maintain manual or operation manual. Applicant can also do some exceptional submitting or saving, when the application is involve with some secrets.
     B. additional material
     1. certification of exploiter’s identity: natural person shall submit the duplication of ID card and “certification of non-service software exploitation”, while artificial person shall submit the notarized duplication of business license.
     2. certification of applicant’s identity: natural person shall submit the duplication of ID card , while artificial person shall submit the notarized duplication of business license (English shall be translated to Chinese).
     3. certification of right attribution: the contract for right of software transferring should be submitted, if the right of software registration would be transferred. And the certification of inheriting should be submitted, if the software registration would be inherited. And the related contract or agreement should be submitted, if the software registration would be done by collaboration or commission. And the ”certification of non-service software exploitation” should be submitted, if it were registered by a natural person without work unit.
     4. certification of software version number: the “explanation of version number ”, which certify the software is original created, should be submitted, if the software version is above 1.0 and the software were original created.
     5. a power of attorney (signed by applicant)
